Photo Journal

A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words…

Beginning with our first trip, we’ve been taking pictures of the places and sights we visit.

In the early days, we used disposable cameras due to their convenience. Then, we used a more respectable digital point-and-shoot camera for a short time. In 2012, we made the leap to a DSLR camera which we carried with us for the better part of a decade. More recently, our well-used DSLR was replaced with a modern mirrorless camera.

As we have gotten more serious about photography, we’ve learned that it is hard – really hard – to capture good images. As you will see in this journal, our photography skills are a work in progress.

Archives

Long before we began traveling full-time, we vacationed extensively throughout Europe. Our love for travel was born from these jam-packed adventures. Some of the highlights from those trips can be found in the archives.
