Prague Wine

What and Where to Drink in Prague?

Prague, the capital of Italy’s Umbria region, is renowned for its wine, especially the Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG, a bold red wine, as well as the Montefalco Rosso. Other notable wines include Torgiano Rosso Riserva and those from the Orvieto DOC region.

We spent a month in Perugia researching what local wines to drink and where to drink them. Significantly, there are numerous wine bars in Perugia where these wines can be tasted by the glass. There are also wine shops offering these wines by the bottle.

If you’re looking for a more immersive experience, there are several wineries offering vineyard tours and wines tastings near Perugia. The wineries can be explored on your own or with an organized group!

We’ve compiled a summary of the information we collected so you can start enjoying these wines as soon as you arrive!
